Roopika a talented actress has given hundreds of programs in dance and recognized as actress in Kannada filmdom. In the acting field as child actress from the age of 9 and doing 20 films as heroine and working for more than 20 television serials Roopika staged a first comeback from ‘Hadi Bidi Love Story’. She had reduced her weight by ten kilograms and she looks very well set for more challenging roles.
Like all Bharatanatyam dancers dream, Roopika has also constructed a dream of doing a ‘Manju Bhargavi’ kind of dance oriented film in her cinema career.
The real breakthrough for Roopika was expected from S Narayan direction cinema ‘Cheluvina Chilipili’ she waited for another film ‘Kalgejje’ to score good marks for her. Even that did not happen. In ‘Rudrakshipura’ she has strong hopes to get attention for good roles.
