All we needed was some entertainment and laughters during lockdown and that\u2019s what\u00a0 French Biriyani gave us. A Frenchman, Simon, lands in India to be confused for being a peddler. Auto rickshaw driver Asgar joins him in his misadventures with the Shivajinagar mafia in Bengaluru.<\/p>\n

The death of a local Don Charles starts with this traditional comedy of mistakes with erroneous identities. Before his death, his Wastrel son is sent a cryptic letter, only not to completely remember it. This leads them to try to decode what he said, beginning a quirky chase where Simon and Asgar, the two leading men, join in.<\/p>\n

In recent past the filmmakers either made a commercial movie with a dose of comedy in it or stuck completely to horror genre. So French biriyani is change of pattern. The movie has lots of comic gags and obvious physical comedy that evokes laughs.<\/p>\n

Movie Director Pannaga Bharana, in his second endeavor as a Director, has picked a content that appears to be straightforward in idea, yet intense in execution given the dependence on comic planning.<\/p>\n

Danish sait , heart of the movie, has given an outstanding performance by play Asgar, the rickshaw guy from Shivajinagar who eventually talks a mixture of languages which include Kannada, hind and Urdu. The Character itself is a funny role so his anger also looks funny.<\/p>\n

This movie doesn\u2019t have any messages to give, nor does it brag star power in the cast. Anyways, if you are looking for comedy and entertainment this is the go to movie especially Bangaloreans can relate the most.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
